The famous singer Kurt Cobain was born in Hoquaim, Washington in 1967. His parents were Wendy and Donald Cobain. Kurt also had a sister named Kimberly. He had a lucky childhood, but when Kurt was eight years old, his parents sought a divorse. Kurt, Kimberly and their mother moved to Aberdeen, Washington. Kurt spent there his youth. He became an unhappy child. He wasn’t accepted by the other kids and he was confronted with the death, because his uncle killed himself. In this time, the guitarist Buzz Osborne was Kurts best friend, who lead him to the “punkmusic”. At his fourteens birthday, he got a guitar and learnt to play it very well. Although in his childhood, he liked to play the drums. Later, Kurt met Krist Novoselic, who played together with him. In 1985, Kurt stopped his school and moved to Olympia, Washington. Krist and Kurt played together a lot of gigs and met the drumer Chad Channing. They based the band Nirvana and got a agreement by Sub Pop in Seattle. In 1989, their first album “Blech” came out. Also in the same year, Kurt met Curtney Love in a Club in Portland and Portland and felt in Love with her. Afterwards, the band Nirvana started his first Tourney through Europe and the drummer Dave Grohl became a new member in the band. In 1991, they produced their second album “Nevermind” and became very famous. It is worldwide one oft the most successful album and every one sang the song. Their first single “smells like teen spirit” got the first place in the music-charts. This single had a certain background, because his girlfriend had a perfume, which named “teen spirit”. Although Kurt hated the perfume, he smelled like that, because he had a lot of body-contact with her. One other girlfriend even wrote “Kurt smels like teen spirit” on the wall. In 1992, Kurt married Courtney in Hawai and in the same year they got a lovely daughter.
She was named Frances Bean, because she looked like a bean at the ultrasonic-photo. In the same year, the third album “Incesticide” came out. In 1993, the fourth album “in Utero” followed. They got a new guitarist “Pet Smear” and started the world-tourney, but it must early be finished, because Kurt became ill. After his worldtour, Kurt and his wife flight to Rom, where Kurt were admitted to the hospital. Later, the doctors recognised, it was his first suicide-test. His wife and the bandmembers persuaded him for a therapy, but after a week, he gave it up. He died, when he was twenty-seven years old. Most of the people thought, he killed himself in his plant house by taking a overdose drugs and shooting with a gun trough his mouth. He was dedicated that he inherited the suicide-gene. After three days, his body was found by an electrician. Kurt’s suicide served as a model for a lot of people. There were a lot of murder- theory’s. One was, that Courtney Love, who even was depressive, engaged a murderer, who killed Kurt, but we missed evidences. It was surprising, that his blood include so much drug. The second mystery was the farewell-letter. It was written by two different persons. The first part included, that Kurt want to finish his career. In the second part, which was written by another person was only told about suicide. Kurt Cobain`s death will always be a mystery.
The group Nirvana finally disbanded.
They produced in all six “alben” and ten singles and the last concert was in Munich in 1994.
Kurt Cobain, who was the leader oft the band Nirvana was one of the best singers ever.
