My presentation is about my favourite country Australia. The west coast of Australia is in the Indian Ocean and the east Coast is in the Pacific Ocean. The most people think that Sydney is the capital of Australia, but this is wrong. Canberra is the Capital of Australia. The Australians use the Australian Dollar.
Australia has six States: New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia.
Australia hast two territories: Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory.
The biggest city of Australia is Sydney. Sydney has over 3 Million residents. The popularest sights are the opera house, the harbor bridge and the parliament.
The national sport of Australia is the Australian Rules football. The ball and the field has a elliptical shape. The maximum of players on the field is 18. The winner is who has the most points at the end of the game.
Australia is my favourite country, because there is so much nature. In Australia live a lot of wild animals like koala bears, kangaroos, ostriches, crocodiles and snakes.
In the central of Australia is the Ayers Rock. The Aboriginal people called him “Uluru”. The Ayers Rock is a large sandstone rock formation.
The climate in Australia is very strange for us, because you can spend Christmas on the beach or you can go skiing in August. In Australia the summer starts in December and the winter starts in June.
