Thank you very much for your letter of 16 May 2001.We very much regret to learn that 47 CD´s,which were delievered according to your Order No 01/451, were broken.
We have meanwhile looked into the matter, but we have noch yet succeeded in finding the reason for the damage.Our despatch departement has assured us that the goods were checked and carefully packed.The damage may have been caused by improper handling during transport.
We have therefore contacted our forwarding agents in Mannheim and asked them for a report.We will inform you immediately after the receipt of the results of this investigation. In order to accommodate you we are ready to replace the damaged CD´s, carriage paid.
Moreover you may take it for granted that we will take the necessary steps in order to avoid such inconvenience in future.
We are confindent that the replacement will reach you safely, and we look forward to further pleasant business connections.
