My Presentation is about a beautiful woman and singer names Katy Perry. Katy Perry was born as Katheryn Elisabeth Hudson on October 25, 1984, in Santa Barbara, California. She is 28 years old. Katy Perry was grown up in an extremly religious Family. She has 1 younger brother and 1 older sister. When she was 9 she started to sing and had only one big dream. To be on stage in a glittering costume. At the age of 13 she started to play the guitar and piano. From year to year her big dream came her nearer and nearer. In 2008 after 3 record deals felt apart, her Singles "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot'n'cold" were worldwide number one hits and the big start of her music career. After these songs she was a worldwide known Singer. Her music style is pop, rock and electronic. Katy Perry writes all her songs by herself. She has also written songs for other singers like Ashley Tisdale, Selena Gomez, Jessie James and Lesley Roy. She was married for about 14 months with Russell Brand from October 2010 to December 2011. She has sold 11 million albums and 75 million digital tracks worldwide. From April 2013, Katy Perry has over 35.6 million followers in Twitter. She has won 123 Awards and was 380 times nominated. Katy Perry is also known for her sex appeal and unusual style of dress. Her fashion has caught the attention of designers. In November 2010, she released her first fragrance "Purr". And later her second frangrance "Meow". There is also a biography 3D movie about herself and her big Tour in 2011 till 2012. It's titled Katy Perry: Part of Me and was a huge success: a turnover of 30 million U.S. dollar.
Katy Perry's successes
on January 2012 Katy Perry became the first female artist in history and the second artist in the world after Michael Jackson, who had five number-one hits from one Album. Her five number one hits are California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Firework, E.T. and Last Friday Night. Not even the Beatles, Elvis or Madonna had managed that. She had also been nominated for nine Grammy Awards and was named by Billboard as 2012's Woman of the Year.
