Michael Jordan is the best known athlete in the word. He is a leading scorer in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He won with the Chicago Bulls many championships. He is the best basketball player in the history. Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York. Michael Jordan grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. 1984 he led the United States basketball team to the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Michael Jordan leaved the high school 1984 and goes to the Chicago Bulls. His first year 1984 - 1985 had he an average of 28, 2 Points per game. He was also named rookie of the year and made the first of his nine all-star games.
Michael Jordan finished the 1986 – 1987 seasons as the second player, after Wilt Chamberlain, to score more than 3.000 points in a single season.
